Try it at home: 150 science activities from Book 8

Every question in A Million Whys Book 8, The Space Expedition, ends with a "Think like a scientist" idea. Here they are in one place. Each one links to its question page, with the video and the full answer.

Safety first. A grown-up should be nearby for every activity, and must do any cutting, cooking, heating or anything with the stove, kettle, hot water or electricity. Never look straight at the Sun. Be gentle with animals and let them decide. Do not taste anything that is spoiled or not food. Activities marked "Do this with a grown-up" need one helping, not just watching.
