Why Do Bright Streaks Spray Out From a Few Spots on the Moon?
The bright streaks on the Moon come from space rocks that crashed into it! When a space rock hits the Moon, it throws out bright, fresh material that spreads far from the crater in long streaks called rays. The streaks are like a splash frozen in time.
