Are there still new reptiles to discover?
Yes.
Every year scientists find and name new kinds of reptiles, often more than a hundred. Many are found in remote forests, mountains, and islands. Some have been hiding in plain sight, like lizards that look alike but are different kinds. New tools such as DNA tests help to tell them apart. There is always more to learn.
