Book 31, Question 13
Where are a bird’s ears?
Birds have ears, but you can’t see them because they are small holes hidden under soft feathers behind and below the eyes.
They have no ear flaps like a dog or a cat. The feathers over them protect the openings but still let sound in. Birds hear well, and many can tell very small differences in a song’s pitch and rhythm.
