Book 33, Question 16
Why are people mammals too?
People are mammals.
We have hair, we make milk for babies, we are warm-blooded, and we have three ear bones and a diaphragm. We even have a tailbone. When scientists compare our bodies to those of other animals, they see many matches. We are most closely related to apes and monkeys. People are mammals who walk upright and use tools.
