Book 32, Question 119
What is a worm lizard?
A worm lizard looks like a pink earthworm but is actually a reptile.
Worm lizards live underground, and many have no legs. Their skin has ring-shaped folds, and their heads are blunt for pushing through soil. They are not true worms or snakes. They are close relatives of lizards, and they live a hidden life in tunnels.
