Book 31, Question 134
How can a quick sketch help you remember a bird?
A sketch doesn’t need to be pretty.
A few lines can show the shape, and labels can note colors, markings, and size. Drawing makes you look closely at the bird, and you notice details that you might miss in a quick glance. Later, you can use your sketch and notes to look up the bird in a guide. Many scientists keep field sketches.
