Which hour of the day is best for spotting birds?
Early morning is a great time because birds are hungry and busy after a night without eating.
The air is calm, so you can hear them better, and they are active and singing. Another good time is late afternoon before sunset, when many birds feed again. Birds are often quiet and hidden at midday. After a rain, birds may also come out to feed on insects.
