Book 31, Question 109
How smart is a pigeon?
Pigeons are much smarter than they look.
In tests, they have learned to tell the difference between paintings by two artists, recognize letters of the alphabet, and tell people apart by their faces. They also find their way home from distant places. A pigeon’s brain is small, but it is packed with cells that make it quick at learning patterns.
