Book 31, Question 106
Can crows count?
Crows and ravens can keep track of small numbers.
In experiments, crows learned to choose a card with a certain number of dots, and some could even call out that many times in a row. They probably don’t count the way we do with number words. Still, being able to compare amounts is very useful when finding food or watching a nest.
