Book 29, Question 2
How do you choose a good spot for a garden?
Most vegetables and flowers need at least six to eight hours of direct sunlight each day, so look for a sunny place.
It should be close to a water source and not too windy. Avoid low spots where water pools and spots shaded by big trees, whose roots steal water. A level spot is easiest. Watch your yard for a day or two before choosing.
