Book 29, Question 1
What is a garden, and why do people grow them?
A garden is a place where people grow plants on purpose.
Some gardens grow food like carrots, beans, and berries. Others grow flowers, herbs, or plants that feed butterflies and birds. People garden for fresh food, beauty, exercise, and calm. A garden can fit in a yard, on a balcony, or in a single pot by a window. Every garden is a small science lab.
