Book 26, Question 76
How did an 11-year-old invent the Popsicle?
By morning, the drink had frozen around the stick.
In 1905, eleven-year-old Frank Epperson of San Francisco mixed soda powder and water with a stick and accidentally left the cup outside on a cold night. He had made the first frozen treat on a stick. Years later, he sold the idea and called it the Epsicle, which became the Popsicle.
