Intro

Hi there, curious minds! I'm Crafty Clover! Let's discover something amazing. Why keep asking if we’re alone?

The Big Idea

We keep asking if we're alone because it is one of science's biggest questions! Each careful search, on Mars, on moons, and around faraway stars, teaches us something. We learn about life's possibilities and about how special Earth is. Every answer, even a no, teaches us something.

Search Mars

Step one: search Mars. Rovers drive across Mars, drilling rocks and looking for signs that it once had life. So far they have found signs of ancient lakes and useful chemicals, but no proof of life.

Search Moons

Step two: search moons. Spacecraft visit moons like Europa and Enceladus, which may hide salty oceans. These oceans could be habitats for life, so we study them with great care.

Search Exoplanets

Step three: search exoplanets. Telescopes have found thousands of planets around other stars. Next, they study the light of these worlds, looking for air that could suggest life.

A Closer Look

Let's take a closer look! The big question is whether life exists anywhere beyond Earth. Every careful search adds evidence, even when it finds nothing. Searching also helps us understand how special Earth is. And it sparks new ideas and clever inventions, too.

Quick Facts

Quick facts! Curiosity is the mission. A hypothesis is an idea you can test. Scientists change their ideas when new evidence appears. Being curious is a superpower that every kid already has.

Think Like a Scientist

Now, be a scientist! Write your own Are We Alone hypothesis. Use just two lines. Say what you think, and then say why you think it. Then share it with your family and ask what they think.

Outro

Keep wondering, keep exploring, and keep asking why. Science is amazing! Crafty Clover can be found on Amazon Books, Google Bookstore, and Apple Books. Available for purchase or download! Bye for now!
