Intro

The Big Idea

Some schools and neighborhoods share a garden! Everyone can help. How does it help the community?

Food and Learning

Step one: Food and Learning. School and community gardens give people fresh food, a place to learn, and a green space to meet. Students can learn science, math, and teamwork.

Sharing and Nature

Step two: Sharing and Nature. Extra harvest can be shared with neighbors, families, and food programs. Gardens give homes to bees, birds, and butterflies.

Better Streets

Step three: Better Streets. Gardens make streets cooler and prettier, and they give people a calm place to relax. A garden can bring a community together and teach everyone to care for the environment.
