Book 29, Question 148

How can a school or community garden help the neighborhood?

These gardens give people fresh food, a place to learn, and a green space to meet.

Students can learn science, math, and teamwork. Extra harvest can be shared. Gardens provide homes for bees, birds, and butterflies, and they make streets cooler and prettier. A garden can bring a community together and teach us to care for the environment.
