Book 33, Question 123
Why do many monkeys live in big groups called troops?
Many monkeys and apes live in groups.
A troop has more eyes to watch for danger, more noses to find food, and more helpers to share babysitting. Members call to each other, groom each other, and keep an eye on the little ones. Living together can be noisy and busy, but a troop looks after its members.
