Book 33, Question 115
Why do ring-tailed lemurs sunbathe?
In the cool morning, ring-tailed lemurs sit upright and face the Sun with their arms spread.
Their bellies are thinly furred, so the sunlight warms them quickly. After a chilly night, this saves energy. Lemurs sit in groups and warm up together. It looks a little like they are doing yoga. Watch lemurs only from a distance.
