Which mammals live in the most places on Earth?
Humans live on every continent, even in research stations in Antarctica.
Rodents such as house mice and brown rats have also traveled with people almost everywhere. Some wild mammals, like foxes and bats, live on many continents too. Mammals can do this because they stay warm, eat many foods, and learn quickly. A mammal that adapts easily can settle nearly anywhere.
