Do snakes chase people?
Snakes don’t chase people.
Most snakes are shy and want to be left alone. If a snake sees a person, it will usually freeze, hide, or slither away. A snake that seems to come toward you is often just trying to find a way out or a place to hide. Giving a snake space keeps both of you safe.
