Book 32, Question 49
How do reptiles drink?
Reptiles drink in different ways.
Many lizards and snakes sip from puddles or dew. A chameleon laps raindrops off leaves, and tortoises dip their faces into small pools. Sea turtles get much of their water from their food. Some reptiles can store water in their bodies, which helps them in dry places. After a rain shower, you might see reptiles take a drink.
