Book 31, Question 147
Why is a snapshot helpful when you meet a mystery bird?
A photo lets you look again at details you may have missed.
Take pictures of the bird’s whole body and of its head, wings, and tail. Photos from far away are fine, because you can zoom later. Never chase a bird or use flash to get a picture. You can show your photo to a grown-up or an app to help identify it.
