Book 30, Question 146
What would a year-long pond notebook show?
Pick a lake or pond you can visit often with a grown-up.
Each time, write the date, weather, water color, and temperature, and sketch what you see. Note birds, plants, and any signs of people. After a year, flip back to see how the seasons changed the place. Scientists keep notes like this for years to spot patterns.
