How can you go pond dipping safely?
Pond dipping means exploring a pond with a net and a white tray.
Always go with a grown-up, stay on firm ground, and wear shoes. Scoop gently through the water and plants, and tip your net into a tray of pond water. Look closely at what you find, draw it, and return every animal to where you got it. Wash your hands well afterward.
