Book 29, Question 138
Why should you never eat berries or plants from a garden or yard unless a grown-up checks?
Some wild and garden plants are poisonous, and many look like safe ones.
Even small amounts of some berries and leaves can make a person very sick. Only a knowledgeable grown-up can be sure of the identification. If you ever eat something by mistake, tell a grown-up right away so they can call poison control. When in doubt, don't taste it.
