Book 29, Question 73
What visits a garden at night?
After dark, moths feed on pale, fragrant flowers, and fireflies glow in summer grass.
Toads and slugs come out, and raccoons or skunks may search for grubs and fallen fruit. Bats may swoop for insects. Some flowers open at night and smell sweeter then. A flashlight with red cellophane is less bothersome to animals. Go out only with a grown-up.
