Book 29, Question 50
How can you chart a plant's growth with a ruler?
Use a ruler to measure the plant's height at the same time every day or week.
Write the numbers in a table. Make a line graph to see the growth. Measure from the soil to the highest point. A sunflower may grow an inch or more per day in summer, while a tomato might grow slower. Comparing plants in different conditions shows what helps them grow best.
