How can you start a tiny garden this weekend?
Find a pot or recycled container with drainage holes.
Fill it with potting mix and plant a quick, easy seed such as lettuce, radish, or basil. Water it gently, put it where it gets sun, and keep the soil moist like a wrung-out sponge. Label it and watch for sprouts. With a bit of care, you'll soon have a real garden.
