Book 28, Question 115
How do makers make sure every basketball bounces the same?
Sports groups set rules for how big, how heavy, and how bouncy a ball must be.
Factories test balls by dropping them from a set height onto a hard floor and measuring how high they bounce. They check air pressure, size, and shape too. A ball that fails goes back. This testing keeps games fair because every ball acts the same.
