How can you invent a musical instrument from household things?
Sound comes from vibrations.
You can make a rubber-band guitar by stretching bands across a box, a kazoo with a comb and wax paper, or a shaker with beans in a container. Changing the length, thickness, or tightness changes the pitch. Try different materials to hear what sounds best. Always use safe materials and ask a grown-up for help.
