Book 26, Question 136
How would you design a better backpack?
Think about the problems: heavy straps, items sinking to the bottom, or zippers that get stuck.
Design questions include where to put pockets, how to spread weight over both shoulders, and what materials are lightweight but strong. Interview friends about what they carry. Then sketch and make a model with cloth or paper. Good design starts with how real people use things.
