Can you invent a helper for an everyday chore?
Many chores have room for improvement.
You could design a scoop for kitty food, a clip to hold a cleaning bag open, or a holder for books on a bed. First, watch how the chore is done and where it is hard. Then sketch ideas, build a rough model, and test with real use. Always check that your invention is safe and doesn't need heat or sharp tools.
