Book 26, Question 111
How do computers help inventors test ideas before building them?
A computer simulation uses math rules for physics to show how a design might behave.
It can show how air flows around a car, how a bridge bends, or how heat spreads in a gadget. Inventors can try hundreds of versions quickly and cheaply. But simulations are only as good as the rules behind them, so engineers still build and test real versions.
