Book 26, Question 48
Does nature always have the best design?
Nature's designs are clever, but they are not always perfect.
Living things have to be good enough to survive, and they are made from the materials and building steps available to them. People have different needs, like wheels, which hardly ever appear in nature. Engineers borrow the best ideas and mix them with their own to create new ones.
