Book 26, Question 47
How do engineers look for nature's answers to a problem?
A biomimicry designer starts with a question, like how to keep a building cool, and asks, how does nature do it?
They search for living things that face the same challenge, study how they solve it, and then turn the idea into a design. There are online libraries of nature's solutions. Then they build and test, since an idea has to work in the real world.
