Book 26, Question 34
How did a boxy fish inspire a car?
The boxfish looks like a rectangle with fins, yet it swims easily and has strong, light armor.
Designers at a car company built a concept car shaped like a boxfish. It had a roomy interior but slipped through the air with little drag. Engineers also studied the fish's bony plates to learn how to build strong, light shapes.
