Book 25, Question 66
How does a 911 call get help to the right place?
A trained dispatcher answers, asks what is wrong and where you are, and sends police, firefighters, or an ambulance.
When you dial 911 in Canada, your call goes to an emergency call center. Phones often help share your location. Stay calm, speak clearly, and know your address. Only call 911 for real emergencies.
