Book 25, Question 37
Why do some cities have lanes just for buses?
A bus carries many more people than a car, so it makes sense to keep it moving.
A bus-only lane lets buses skip past traffic jams, so trips are faster and more reliable. More people choose the bus, which means fewer cars on the road. A single bus can take the place of dozens of cars.
