Book 25, Question 17
What do architects and engineers each do?
An architect designs how a building looks and works, such as where rooms, windows, and doors go.
Structural engineers figure out how strong the beams and columns must be to hold everything up. Other engineers plan the heating, cooling, electricity, and water. Builders put the plan into action. Together, they make a building that is useful, beautiful, and safe.
