How do window washers reach the 60th floor?
Window washers ride on platforms that hang from cables attached to a rig on the roof.
They wear safety harnesses connected to strong anchor points. Some buildings have tracks and machines that move up and down the glass. Washers clean with soapy water and squeegees. They do not work when it is windy or stormy, because safety comes first.
