How Can Some People Use Clicking Sounds to Sense Walls and Doorways?

Some people use soft clicking sounds to sense walls and doorways. This is called echolocation! The clicks bounce off nearby things and come back as echoes, and the brain learns to turn those echoes into a picture of the space. Bats and dolphins use echolocation too.
