Book 32, Question 131 · Video
Can a snake hypnotize you?
No. A snake cannot hypnotize anybody. Snakes do have a still, unblinking stare because they have no eyelids. Their eyes are covered by clear scales that don’t close. That staring look can seem spooky, but it doesn’t have any power. A snake mostly watches for movement and wants to avoid trouble. There is no magic in its gaze.
