How does a crocodile swim?
A crocodile swims by swishing its strong, flat tail from side to side. Its legs are tucked against its body, and the webbed back feet help with steering. This way it can glide through water almost silently. When it wants to rest, it floats with just its eyes and nostrils above the surface. Stay far from the water’s edge where crocodiles live.
