Book 26, Question 124 · Video
Why do companies test a new idea in just one town first?
Trying something new in a small place is called a pilot test. If it goes wrong, the problem is small and can be fixed. It also shows what real people think. A bus company might test a new route in one neighborhood, or a store might try a new product in a few shops. Then they change the idea and try again before going bigger.
