Why Use Oven Mitts with No Wet Spots?
We use dry oven mitts because wet fabric carries heat to your skin much faster! Water conducts heat well, and hot water in a mitt can turn to steam. Dry, thick mitts block heat much better, and they give grown-ups time to set down a hot pan.
