Book 9, Question 127
Why Use Separate Boards for Raw Meat and Veggies?
We use separate cutting boards for raw meat and veggies so germs from the meat do not land on foods we will not cook! Raw meat juices can carry germs, and they drip and spread. Separate boards stop that spread, called cross-contamination.
