Wings Over Dinos! Why Did Flying Reptiles Soar?
Pterosaurs were flying reptiles that lived at the same time as the dinosaurs, though they were not dinosaurs themselves. Their wings were made of skin stretched from a very long finger, and their light bones helped them stay in the air. Some may have soared on rising air, much like big birds do today.
