Book 32, Question 106
What is a tuatara?
A tuatara looks like a lizard, but it belongs to its own special group.
It lives only on some islands of New Zealand. Tuataras are slow and quiet, and they can be active even when it is cool. Many scientists say their relatives lived at the time of the dinosaurs. A tuatara may live for sixty years or more.
