Book 32, Question 85
Do baby reptiles go through big changes like frogs do?
Baby reptiles do not change shape the way frogs and butterflies do.
They hatch as small copies of their parents, with scales, legs, or shells, ready to find food and hide. They may have slightly different colors or patterns. A baby has all the parts it needs right away. They grow bigger by adding to what they already have.
