Book 31, Question 128
What is the trick to getting a bird into your binoculars?
Don’t start by looking through the binoculars.
First, find the bird with your eyes alone and notice what is near it, such as a branch or a rock. Keep your eyes locked on the spot, then slowly raise the binoculars straight to your face without looking away. The bird should pop into view. Adjust the focus wheel until the image is sharp.
